Elias Maduro –
This was our second time visiting Tequila, so we didn’t want to do the big commercial tours again. We were looking for something more local, more real — and this tour delivered exactly that. El Tequileño isn’t as flashy as some of the others, but that’s what made it so good. You get a better look at how tequila is actually made, and the guide was great at explaining everything in a simple way that made it all click.
The stop at Las Batangas was a big highlight. We had never even heard of it before, but it ended up being one of the most interesting parts of the day. There’s a lot of history there, and it’s closely connected to El Tequileño’s story. It felt like we were seeing something most tourists don’t.
The whole day felt relaxed but still well organized. We weren’t herded around or rushed. If you’ve already done the usual spots in Tequila and want something that goes a little deeper — this is the tour to take. It’s a totally different vibe, in the best way.
